TECHNOLOGY & TRENDS

FIRE MARSHALS IN ACTION

State Fire Marshal James Rivera and staff at the Illinois State Fire Marshal's Office have been selected to host a home fire sprinkler educational display at the Springfield HQ. They are also looking forward to seeing it travel for use at Illinois' two state fairs in Springfield and DuQuoin. Thanks to the Northern Fire Sprinkler Advisory Board for providing the display.

Recently at the NFPA IFMA Chapter President's Meeting, Chief Fire Protection Engineer Ken Bush of the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office was awarded and recognized for his 47 years of service to the fire service, fire safety communities not only nationally but internationally with his involvement within the NFPA codes and standards process serving on and chairing technical committees since 1978. Great thanks and admiration for his service!
