NCOAA is proud of the progress we’ve made over the 10 years, and we’re excited now to launch our new NCOAA Partnership Program. We could not work towards our vision of ending injuries and death related to CO poisoning without your help.
To become an NCOAA Partner, contact me at my email address below for details. Every single day, there are, on average, 274 emergency room visits and at least 3 deaths, but this is a preventable phenomenon. We are the only national organization tackling CO poisoning from all levels – public education, advocacy, research, standards/regulations, medical and first responder training, community collaboration, and more.
Your support is invaluable to our mission. Learn more about us and our work at www.ncoaa.us. Please partner with us today!
Thank you, Kevin Singer

Fire codes and standards are crucial for fire safety, outlining minimum requirements for fire prevention, detection, suppression, and safe evacuation. They establish a framework for building construction, maintenance, and the use of fire protection equipment. However, codes and standards are currently under attack. In this Knox & Friends podcast, Mike Morgan, the Director of the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, discusses the importance of defending codes and standards, as well as the importance of grooming new leaders, attracting and retaining volunteers, the growth of wildfires, the importance of being involved in industry organizations, and much more. |
