This program is intended to provide the information (knowledge) to make informed decisions relating to potential solutions to reduce the risk of fire in buildings under construction. This will a comprehensive look at the problem, including a review of representative major fires across the U.S.; a gap analysis of existing systems that are intended to provide for fire safety; and a host of methods to fill the identified gaps. Those methods will be explored individually and in concert to identify synergies that can be achieved by layering the different options to gain more results for the money spent.
